2.Main Production Way of Taurine
(1)React ethylene oxide with sodium bisulfite to form isethionic acid.
(2)Neutralize to get sodium isethionate.
(3)React with ammonia to form taurine.
(4)Crystallize, separate, wash, and dry to obtain pure taurine.
